Car Insurance Mercury (Car Insurance). Problems starting my truck...?Problems starting my truck...? I have a 1992 Mazda B2200 2.2L pick up truck. The battery is fully charged, and i have replaced the battery terminals. I tried boosting it and nothing happend. The Dash board lights all came on, but the truck wouldnt even try to turn over...when i turn the key, I head a faint whining sound under my steering wheel by the pedals. Any ideas? Starter bendex The solenoid on the starter may be the issue. Bypass the interior key ignition switch and try a remote starter wire to see if the starter motor turns over. ( One wire attaches to starter where + battery cable attaches and the other wire to ground. There is a push button contact to activate the switch. Ignition switch is off in car). Could be brushes in the solenoid. ITS AMAZING I found it at http://seekitnow.info/33406/battery-terminal Here you are. http://findsth.info/416839/battery-terminal Gooooood luck (: Auto parts : Hand Held Vacuum Pump Acura 1995 . My catalytic converter was stolen off my 1995 oldsmobile silhouette.? I live in a good part of town that gangs travel to so they can steal cars. Mercury . How to Repair & Paint an Aluminum PropellerThe propeller on a boat can take a lot of abuse depending on what type of area your boat is used in. For boats used for fishing in ponds, lakes and streams, propellers can be damaged on stumps, logs, rocks or animals under the water's surface. The propeller can also be damaged while being loaded or unloaded from a boat trailer. Aluminum is strong, but is a softer metal than most. It can be repaired, painted and refinished to look like new, but the performance won't be as good as a perfectly new propeller. Difficulty:Moderately Challenging Instructions Things You'll Need Welding machine Aluminum welding wire Welding gloves Welding hood Grinder Marine paint Step by Step : 1 Remove the propeller from the boat and place it on a flat, sturdy surface. The damaged side should be facing up with easy access to it. If the edge needs welding, place the edge of that blade near the edge of the surface. 2 Put on the welding hood and gloves before welding. Make sure the welding wire is correctly being fed into the machine by checking it before use. Turn the welding machine on and begin welding. Start on the left of the damage and work to the right if you are right handed. Work the opposite direction if you are left handed. 3 Allow the weld to cool completely, which takes about 20 minutes. Once the metal is cool, use a grinder to carefully shape the weld to blend it with the shape of the propeller and smooth it out. 4 Sand the propeller with 120 grit sandpaper until the entire propeller is dull. Wipe it down with a tack cloth to remove any dust particles or fingerprints. 5 Spray three coats of aluminum oxide primer on the propeller. Wait 30 minutes for each coat to dry before applying the next. Allow 3 hours for the primer to dry completely. 6 Apply three to five coats of paint on the propeller, waiting at least 15 minutes between each coat. Wait a full day for all of the paint to dry before handling the propeller. Tips & Warnings Even though aluminum propellers can be welded to look good, a significant amount of strength is lost. If the propeller is missing large chunks or the blades are severely bent, the entire propeller should be replaced and is not worth repairing. Never weld without welding gloves and hood. Welding can cause severe eye damage if done without a welding hood.
Mercury . How to Repair Dents Without PaintVehicle dents can make even a brand-new car look beat up and used. Most dent and collision work costs hundreds or even thousands of dollars to repair. Even if you don't need the area repainted, having someone remove the dent can cost a significant amount. Learn how to repair dents without paint and save yourself some money. Difficulty:Moderate Instructions Things You'll Need Plunger Dish soap Body hammer Block of wood (small 2-by-4) Step by Step : 1 Wet the dented area with water and a small amount of dish soap. Place a household plunger in the center of the dent and apply pressure to create suction. 2 Pull the dent out gently by pulling on the plunger. With the surface of the car wet and slippery, the plunger can be slid to any other areas of the dent. Doing this can keep the dent even and pull out even large dents. Once you are finished with the plunger, slide it down to break the suction. 3 Inspect the dent to locate the areas, if any, that weren't repaired by using the plunger. Locate any high areas and place the block of wood on them. Use the body hammer to gently tap the wood to push the metal into place. The wood won't scratch the surface as easily at a metal hammer. 4 Look for any low spots that didn't respond to the plunger. Get behind the dent by removing pieces of plastic liner under the wheel wells, or remove the door panel to get to the back side of the door. Use the block of wood and body hammer to gently tap the metal into place from the inside. Tips & Warnings Don't hit the painted surface of the car with a hammer, since the metal will cause the paint to chip.
